BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This was our first project in the 2nd class of International Leisure Management, and the main subject was Imagineering. This project was executed with three other students for a real client, named Regionalverband Ruhr. Additionally, the client asked us to come up with a creative solution for their issue. Therefore, the actual assignment is: ‘To create a strong and sustainable experience for the five Revierparks of Regionalverband Ruhr.' The most suitable target group for our created experience are the baby boomers (65+).
Our product briefly: our idea is heavily based on communities, health, and unity. Harvesting communities say it already. The concept is that people will come to the park to the garden. Planting, watering and harvesting vegetables and fruits. After this process, they could relax and drink a coffee in the created 'living room' where everybody feels home. Here they play games and cook together. Moreover, workshops could be given.
Our product was presented on November 3rd in the academy with the client. We were chosen as best feasible and suitable project for the five Revierparks.
